Malaysia
The recently returned YES Abroad Malaysia participants shared about their visit to the State of Sabah on the Island of Borneo. This was an amazing opportunity for participants to learn other elements of Malaysian culture with local schools, traditional dances, and hand-made crafts!
Türkiye
Aaron, who recently returned from the YES Abroad program in Türkiye, shared about the mural he designed and painted with his classmate at his host school in Izmir. He combined the imagery of Izmir's historic clock tower with the iconic Space Needle from Aaron's hometown, Seattle. The result was a beautiful and lasting symbol of friendship and citizen diplomacy between their respective hometowns. Great work, Aaron!
Thailand
The YES Abroad students to Thailand arrived in Bangkok to start their program, enjoying a visit to The Grand Palace during the Arrival Orientation! They're already looking sharp in their Thai school uniforms!
Indonesia
The YES Abroad students to Indonesia recently arrived in Jakarta to start their program, including a fantastic pottery making activity during the Arrival Orientation! We love to see these students' creativity in action!
