During the month of September, YES Abroad arrived in their host countries, adjusted to their new communities, and already started making waves in their host schools!

Indonesia:

Mary, a YES Abroad participant in Indonesia, joined her local swimming club and has already won three gold medals!

Malaysia:

Isabel began her first day of school, accompanied by her host family and local volunteers!

Morocco:

YES Abroad Morocco participants learned how to navigate the market, including meeting their local fishmonger! Learning how to buy local products and getting to know your local shopkeepers is a great way to get to know your local community better.

Senegal:

The 2023-2024 cohort arrived in Senegal to begin their year abroad in their host communities. Good luck this year, all!
